• When packaging the box, handle with care. Anthuriums look hardy but the blooms bruise easily if they're not handled gently!
• Before making your arrangement, trim off about 3cm (1inch) from the end of the stems with a sharp knife to ensure that the stem will take up enough water.
• Try to keep away from drafts, air conditioning and heat registers.
• Remember anthuriums are tropicals and therefore temperatures should not go below 13º C (55ºF).
• Make sure that the vase or container has clean water at all times.
• Daily misting of the blooms will help keep your anthurium fresher.
• Remember to change the water in your vase every few days.
